Rainbow Bright CircleTime started as a heartfelt idea in 2020 as just a Mommy and Me play group, born from a deep love of early childhood education and a desire to create a supportive, engaging space for young learners. After spending years as a special educator working with children ages 0–5, I witnessed how transformative hands-on, play-based activities can be in building confidence, social-emotional skills, and a genuine passion for learning.
I began by hosting small circle time gatherings at my home, inviting a few neighborhood families for songs, stories, and movement activities. As word spread, so did the excitement! Parents loved how much their children looked forward to each session, and I saw a clear need in the community for a nurturing, structured program that offered both education and a sense of belonging.
In 2024, with the encouragement of Marisa Martinez, I officially launched Rainbow Bright CircleTime LLC. Since then, we’ve been welcoming families to our interactive circle time events at The Children’s Board Family Resource Center of Temple Terrace. In 2025, right after we turned a year old we launched Rainbow Bright Reading Detectives, where Mrs. Whitney encourages the children to dive into books and answer all “WH” questions (Who, What, When, Where, and Why) to crack the case at hand.
